February 2012
YOU’RE INVITED…
Over the next four months, the University of Victoria will reach out to the community to provide more information and receive input regarding the new Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA). This renewed consultation effort comes in response to recommendations provided in the Better Neighbours report, and will focus on providing the community with new design options for the CARSA project parkade, addressing traffic concerns, and answering questions regarding the project overall.
You are invited to attend any of three ‘drop-in’ interactive Open Houses that will take place in March throughout our community. Come to the event that suits you best and stay as long as you like.

These Open Houses will give community members and stakeholders the opportunity to learn about the project and provide feedback regarding some initial design options for the CARSA project parkade and traffic management. Please note that anyone not able to attend these sessions can provide feedback online through the CARSA website (listed below) following the first Open House on March 8.
After input is gathered at the Open Houses, UVic will develop a revised parkade design. In May, a second set of Open Houses will take place to present the revised design and gather further comments.
